The Butler Volunteer Fire Department is a volunteer organization that provides Fire, Rescue and other Emergency Assistance for the Borough of Butler. The Department currently provides service to a coverage area of approximately 2 square miles. We currently respond out of two stations, the main station on Carey Avenue and the sub-station on Bartholdi Avenue. We have four main pieces of apparatus, including two engines, a rescue-engine, and an aerial tower. Our support vehicles include two chief/command vehicles, two Fire-Police vehicles, and a Utility truck that is used to provide additional assistance, tools and manpower on Emergency and Non-emergency calls.
Our mission is to provide quality care to the citizens of Butler and the surrounding communities during their time of need.
